What you noticed is worth a vet's eyes soon. Rabbits are good at hiding when something is wrong, so it's best to have your exotic vet take a look before anything has a chance to progress. Book a routine appointment in the next day or two, and call sooner if anything gets worse.
What it can mean
Itchy skin, flakes, or patchy fur loss can be associated with fur mites such as Cheyletiella (sometimes called walking dandruff because the flakes appear to move), ear mites, fleas, ringworm (a fungal infection), or barbering by a bonded rabbit. These conditions are generally treatable once identified, but they can spread between rabbits or occasionally to people, so a vet check soon is a good idea.
