About

BunnyChart exists because rabbit owners deserve real guidance.

Rabbits are more delicate than most people realise when they first bring one home. A diet that looks fine can cause trouble over months. A change in droppings that seems small can be serious. BunnyChart helps owners notice these things, understand what they mean, and get to a vet when it matters.

Every feature is built around one idea: explain the why. The food checker tells you why a food is limited, not just that it is. Ask BunnyChart tells you what a sign can mean and what to watch for. The goal is to make you a more confident, knowledgeable rabbit owner over time, not to keep you dependent on an app.

BunnyChart is made by Hareloom Studios, a small independent studio in BC, Canada, built with care for the animals it is meant to help.

A note on veterinary care

BunnyChart is a care companion and an educational tool. It is not a veterinary service. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or replace the advice of a qualified exotic vet.

When a feature mentions symptoms or gives care guidance, it is helping you understand what you are seeing and when to seek professional help. It is never telling you that professional help is not needed. For any concern about your rabbit's health, please contact your exotic vet.

BunnyChart provides educational information from verified rabbit-care sources. It does not replace professional veterinary care. Always confirm health-related information with your exotic vet.

Common questions

Is BunnyChart free?

Yes. Every feature is free to use today, and the Burrow plan is free forever. Paid plans come later with extra room, but the free plan always stays free.

Is BunnyChart still being worked on?

Yes, in the best way. BunnyChart is a young app, actively cared for and getting better all the time. You get the whole app today, and your feedback genuinely shapes what gets built next.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your bunny's information lives in your household and other users cannot see it. Photos are stored privately, with location data stripped on upload. You can download all your data or delete your account at any time from Settings.

Can Ask BunnyChart replace my vet?

No. Ask BunnyChart is a care guide. It can explain rabbit care and what signs can mean, but it cannot diagnose, cannot prescribe, and is not a substitute for a qualified exotic vet. For anything health-related, it points you to your vet.

What is an exotic vet?

A vet who specialises in small animals like rabbits. Many dog-and-cat vets are not trained in rabbit medicine, so finding an exotic vet before you need one is worthwhile. Your current vet can usually refer you.

Is the food information sourced?

Yes. Every food entry cites a primary source: the House Rabbit Society, the Rabbit Welfare Association, MediRabbit, or peer-reviewed exotic veterinary literature. We do not add entries without a credible citation.
