Is tansy toxic to rabbits?
A sourced answer from House Rabbit Society and RWAF guidance. If your bunny has chewed this plant, call your exotic vet right away.
Tansy
Best avoidedAll parts hold a strong oil rich in thujone, a nerve toxin that can trigger seizures, and the plant can also cause miscarriage in pregnant animals. It is bitter, so poisonings are uncommon but serious: belly pain, a weak fast pulse and violent spasms in larger amounts.
How much: Never feed. Skip it when foraging, especially around pregnant does.
If your bunny has already eaten this, call your exotic vet now.
