Best avoidedA buttercup-family plant of damp ground that releases an irritant oil (protoanemonin) when chewed, blistering the mouth and upsetting the gut. The acrid taste usually limits intake, so it is mostly a mild mouth-and-tummy problem, and it is far less of a worry once dried.
How much: Never feed fresh marsh marigold. Skip it when foraging near water.
