Best avoidedAll parts, and especially the spiny seed pods, hold powerful tropane alkaloids like those in deadly nightshade. Eating it causes dilated pupils, a racing heart, restlessness, disorientation, tremors and seizures, and can be fatal. A weed of waste ground and field edges.
How much: Never feed. Never forage where jimson weed grows.
