Is henbane toxic to rabbits?
A sourced answer from House Rabbit Society and RWAF guidance. If your bunny has chewed this plant, call your exotic vet right away.
Henbane
Best avoidedAll parts hold powerful tropane alkaloids, the same family as deadly nightshade. Eating it causes dilated pupils, a racing heart, restlessness, disorientation, tremors and, in serious cases, seizures. A sticky, foul-smelling weed of waste ground.
How much: Never feed. Never forage where henbane grows.
If your bunny has already eaten this, call your exotic vet now.
