Is grape hyacinth toxic to rabbits?

A sourced answer from House Rabbit Society and RWAF guidance. If your bunny has chewed this plant, call your exotic vet right away.

Grape hyacinth (Muscari)

Best avoided

A small spring bulb grouped by rabbit-welfare guidance with the toxic bulbs (hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, crocuses). The bulb is the worst part, causing heavy drooling, mouth and gut irritation and a rabbit going off its food.

How much: Never feed. Keep bulbs and planted beds out of reach.
