Is celandine toxic to rabbits?
A sourced answer from House Rabbit Society and RWAF guidance. If your bunny has chewed this plant, call your exotic vet right away.
Celandine
Best avoidedWhen chewed it releases an irritant (protoanemonin in lesser celandine; an acrid sap in greater celandine) that blisters and burns the mouth and irritates the gut. The bitter taste usually limits how much a rabbit eats, so it is mostly a mild mouth-and-tummy problem.
How much: Never feed fresh celandine. Skip it when foraging.
