Is anthurium toxic to rabbits?

A sourced answer from House Rabbit Society and RWAF guidance. If your bunny has chewed this plant, call your exotic vet right away.

Anthurium (flamingo flower)

Best avoided

Holds insoluble calcium oxalate crystals all through the plant. Chewing drives the needle-like crystals into the lips, mouth and throat, causing intense burning, heavy drooling, swelling and a refusal to eat.

How much: Never feed. Keep it well out of reach.
