Can rabbits eat peach?

A quick, sourced answer from House Rabbit Society and RWAF guidance, with the why behind it.

Peach

Okay sometimes

The ripe flesh is a safe treat. The pit contains cyanide-releasing compounds and must never be given. High in sugar, so tiny portions only.

How much: A small 1-2 cm piece of flesh, once or twice a week. Remove the pit completely.
